Hire An off-duty police officer

The Texarkana Police Department allows hiring an off-duty officer through a contract basis, with a four-hour minimum. The Texarkana Police Department will attempt to staff any approved contract-overtime requests but can make no guarantee that the request will be staffed. Please complete and submit the contract overtime request form below. You will be contacted about your request as soon as possible.

I hereby request that the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department provide police officer(s) for the purpose of crowd control, prevention of shoplifting, and other criminal acts on the premises as noted below:

I understand that any officer(s) so assigned are performing the duty under the supervision and control of the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department. I further understand and agree that I will be billed for, and promise to reimburse the City of Texarkana, Arkansas for the salaries of any officer(s) so assigned at a rate of one and one half time of said officer(s) regular hourly salary, including any and all applicable fringe benefit charges.
