The Central Dispatch Center is a 24-hour operation which provides emergency and non-emergency call taking and dispatching for police, fire, and city services as needed. The Central Dispatch Center is also the Primary Answering Point (PSAP) for Texarkana 9-1-1 calls, which includes transferring emergency calls to the appropriate agencies as needed.

The Central Dispatch Center strives to handle all calls in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
