The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has arrested, Paul Kramer, W/M 46yoa, of Hope Arkansas, for a committing a series of three incidents which caused a substantial amount of property damage. On Thursday, December 11, at 12:00pm, officers responded to 5421 East Broad Street, the Lighthouse Fellowship Church, to a reported vandalism. When officers arrived they observed the church sign in the parking lot to be completely destroyed. Witnesses told officers a man driving a white truck pulled into the parking lot and ran into the church sign. A short time later, officers received a call of an audible alarm at the Eagles Lodge, in the 3400 block of East Broad Street. Upon arrival, officers observed a white Chevy S-10 pickup truck backed into the front of the building. The vehicle was unoccupied and a witness advised the driver had fled the scene on foot. Officer Randy McAdams located Kramer approximately 300 yards from the business and he was taken into custody. It was determined through the initial investigation after Kramer left the church; he pulled into the parking lot of the Electric Cowboy, 4423 East Broad Street, and rammed a parked vehicle. Significant damage was sustained in all three incidents.
Kramer is currently at the Bi-State Jail and charged with Felony Criminal Mischief. The investigation into this case is ongoing. It is not believed that drugs or alcohol were a factor in this case.
