Re: Demarcus Cooks Arrested

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department arrested Miller County Escapee, Demarcus Cooks, tonight after he was located in the 3800 block of East 9th Street. Cooks was arrested for escape on five felony charges out of Miller County. Cooks is currently in custody at the Bi-State Jail

The Texarkana Arkansas Criminal Investigation Division, Special Operations Unit, and Bi-State Narcotics Task force, has been diligently seeking Cooks since his escape from the Miller County Jail on November 28th. Undercover officers spotted Cooks at a residence which he was known to frequent, and followed him until making the arrest in the 3800 East 9th Street. Four felony arrest warrants for burglary are pending for Cooks though the Texarkana Arkansas department.
