Re: Commercial Burglary Arrest

On November 27, 2008 at 4:00 a.m. Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to 600 E. Broad Street, Murray North American Freight, in reference to an alarm. When Officer, Holly Smith arrived on scene she located two white males hiding in the bushes adjacent to a vacant building in the area near the business. The two men were detained while officers investigated the alarms in the area. Officers located an open door North American Freight and Bolls Distributing, 700 East Broad Street, and two damaged vehicles. One truck had been damaged by a fire extinguisher being discharged throughout the cab, and a second SUV had its drivers window busted out and the steering column damaged. After investigating the incident and additional evidence being collected both of the detained men were arrested and charged with two counts of commercial burglary, attempted auto theft, and two counts of criminal mischief.

Arrested was Chad Campbell, w/m, 18 yrs of age, from Texarkana TX and a Juvenile.

Campbell was booked into the Bi-State Justice jail and the Juvenile was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.
