The Texarkana Arkansas Police Dept. was chosen to receive the XOA Portable Video Surveillance System by the federally funded, Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program. The XOA Portable Video Surveillance System is a system capable of managing four cameras simultaneously. The XOA captures real time evidence directly to removable media, preserving chain of custody. The XOA includes four cameras and a USB removable hard drive.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police Dept. received the system after applying for the program in 2007. The program also includes extensive training on the operation of the system, in which a current Texarkana Arkansas Detective will be attending.
