Texarkana Arkansas Police Detective Alan Fincher arrested and charged Steven Higgins, W/M 08/04/89, with 2 counts of commercial burglary, theft of property over $2500, and 12 counts of breaking or entering, all felony charges, for the two recent Holiday Bowl burglaries. Due to an anonymous tip and corroborative evidence, it was determined that Huggins and a juvenile suspect committed the February 23rd burglary, in which two safes and business keys for various coin machines were stolen. The safes were recovered shortly after the incident. On April 21st the business was burglarized a second time. During this incident 12 coin machines; including pool tables, gaming devices, and an ATM machine, were either broken into or opened using keys that were taken from the first incident. Those stolen keys were left behind on the business floor.
The juvenile suspect has not been located at this time. Higgins is currently in custody at the bi-state jail.
