Arrest Made in 2007 Theft Ring

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has arrested Sharlotte Carrigan, B/F 23 yoa, for the alleged Wal-Mart Purse thefts reported from November through December of 2007. Carrigan was located recently in Hope after being identified as a suspect in a jewelry theft in Shreveport, Louisiana. Detective Jeff Gladden arrested Carrigan and charged her with 32 counts of Theft of a Credit Card, a felony.

Det. Gladden was able to identify Carrigan from the Wal-Mart video surveillance and the method of operation in which the thefts occurred. Det. Gladden advised he has linked to Carrigan to 9 separate incidents that occurred at the Wal-Mart on Arkansas Blvd. and she was charged with each credit card that was stolen. Carrigan is currently in the Miller County Jail.
