Driver is arrested After Crashing into Building

On April 2, 2008 at 3:00 A.M, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Dept. arrested Brian Bursey, B/M 36 yoa, after he crashed his vehicle into Fat Jacks restaurant, 3324 North State Line Avenue. Officer Zachary White and Jeff Savage were initially dispatched to an audible alarm call at the building. When Officers arrived they observed the entire hood of Bursey’s vehicle to be inside the building. It was apparent to Officers that alcohol was involved, causing Bursey to lose control of the vehicle after driving recklessly. Bursey was arrested and transported to the bi-state where he was charged with DWI, Driving with a suspended driver’s license, and careless and prohibited driving.
