Three suspects, who are linked to as many as 21 residential burglary cases throughout the area, are in custody today at the Miller County Jail. Keeagan Fletcher, 18, Christopher Houff 19, and Lucas Phillips, 19, all of Texarkana Arkansas, were located during a traffic stop in Miller County while responding to a burglary in progress call. Miller County Deputies received a 911 call from an individual stating that the suspects were burglarizing her neighbor’s home and provided a vehicle description and license plate number. While in route to the call Deputies located the vehicle and suspects, who had stolen property from the residence in their possession.
An address of 2400 East 24th St was determined, and Texarkana Arkansas Detective Paul Nall quickly obtained a search warrant of the property. Inside the residence more than 50,000 dollars worth of stolen property was recovered. Some of the recovered property included; 35 firearms, ammunition, savings bonds, furniture, electronic equipment, large flat screen televisions, dishware, flatware, and clothing. Bowie County Captian Jeff Neal and Miller County Investigator Don Thornell, were on scene to help with investigation and identifying the stolen property.
The investigation is ongoing and many more felony warrants for the suspects are expected from all three agencies involved.
