The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has received information during the investigation of the murder on I:30 that the name of the victim’s name may be Amie Renee Meridith rather than previously released Amie Renee Tutt. This information was gained through a man that came to the police department claiming to be her current husband and provided a marriage certificate. The name, Amy Renee Tutt, utilized in the original report was obtained from her valid Texas driver’s license.
The agency has received several calls asking if more than two motorcycles were involved in the wreck. A total of four motorcycles were caravanning together. Two of the motorcycles were involved in the wreck. The other two motorcycles were present, however they did not have any personal injury or property damage.
