Re: Armed Robbery

On 8-3-06 at 1:30am Texarkana Arkansas Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at "On The Run Exxon" in the 2300 block of State Line.

After interviewing the clerk and viewing store surveillance tapes officers noted that a tall black male entered the store wearing a white "dew-rag" which was partially covering his face. The suspect produced a small silver pistol and ordered the clerk to give him the money from the register. The suspect took the money and ran north on foot away from the business. The theft total was $269.00.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'00" tall, with a medium build. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt with red lettering on the front. He was also wearing a white baseball cap and red shorts. Based on surveiilance photos, it is also apparent that the suspect had a goatee at the time of the robbery.
