Williams for one count of Criminal Attempt of Murder after he allegedly held a pistol to his girlfriends head and pulled the trigger. Officers responded to the 600 block of Grim Street after receiving a 911 call from the suspect in reference to his girlfriend using his car without his consent. According to reports, Williams and the victim began to argue when she arrived at the house. During the argument Williams produced a small caliber revolver, held the gun to the victims head and allegedly pulled the trigger. Officers are still investigating the fact that the gun did not fire.
The victim was able to wrestle the gun away from Williams and hide it. Police confiscated the weapon as evidence in the case. The victim and a witness were not harmed and Williams was taken into custody without incident. Williams is currently being held in the Bi-State jail and no bond has been set.
