28 year-old EDWIN “MIKE” HOLLINGSWORTH
Patrolman Hollingsworth graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. He graduated from the Arkansas Police Corp. in August of 2002. After graduating from the APC, he acquired approximately three years of law enforcement experience during employment with Hot Spring Sheriff’s Department and Rockport Police Department in Malvern, Arkansas. Patrolman Hollingsworth will attend the Department’s Orientation Academy prior to being assigned to the Patrol Division, where he will enter the Field Training Program.
35 year-old RANDALL “RANDY” MCADAMS
Patrolman McAdams has approximately seven and one-half years of law enforcement experience, which he acquired during his employment, as a K-9 deputy sheriff, with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department. Patrolman McAdams will attend the Department’s Orientation Academy prior to being assigned to the Patrol Division, where he will enter the Field Training Program.
23 year-old KRISTI MARIE MITCHELL
Patrolman Mitchell attended Henderson State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She has prior law enforcement experience from her employment with the Miller County Sheriff’s Department, where she was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division. Patrolman Mitchell will attend the Department’s Orientation Academy and then return to her assignment in the Patrol Division, where she’s in “phase II” of the Field Training Program.
We would also like to announce the addition of new Animal Control Officer to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department Animal Control Division.
50 year-old DENNIS W. BRADDOCK
Animal Services Officer Braddock of DeQueen AR was hired by our agency February 6, 2005. He possesses certification in Chemical Immobilization from the Arkansas State Animal Control Association Training Academy, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In addition to state certification in animal euthanasia, Mr. Braddock has approximately three years prior experience, which he acquired during his employment with the City of DeQueen, Arkansas.
