At approximately 12:00pm last Friday (02/14/05), Officer John Gibbert and his K-9 partner Oran of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department’s Special Operations Unit were working narcotics interdiction at the Greyhound Bus Station on E. 51st Street. Officer John Gibbert and his K-9 partner Oran located four bottles of narcotics in liquid form and a small amount of marijuana in a travel bag in the overhead compartment of a bus traveling from California to Washington D.C. The drugs that look like water were located in four bottles. The drugs that are believed to be a form P.C.P. called “Water” or “Sherm” have an estimated street value of $1.4 to 2.4 million dollars.
48 year-old Debra Jackson of Compton California was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. She is currently being held in Bi-State jail and no bond has been set.
