Re: Police identified and are looking for a man wanted in five drive-by shootings. Three gunshot victims hospitalized.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is currently looking for Michael Dallas Hodge (Black/Male, 01/27/82) in connection with at least five shooting that occurred in Texarkana Arkansas this date.

The shootings originated in the 2200 block of East St. at an apartment complex. Officers were called to this location at approximately 7:00pm and found physical evidence of multiple gunshots from damaged property.

Minutes after receiving the call in the 2200 block of East, a white male sitting in his car in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 1200 block of East St. was shot.

Following the shooting of the white male at the convenience store a black male was shot twice while walking near the intersection of Mitchell and Garden Streets.

The violence continued when a white female standing in a yard in the 800 block of Fairview was struck twice by gunfire.

A fifth shooting in this criminal episode occurred when numerous gunshots were fired through a house on Garden Street where no one was injured.

There has not been any connection between the victims of these crimes and the shootings do appear to be random acts of violence by Michael Hodge. All of the victims have been hospitalized and the extents of the injuries are not known at this time.

Michael Dallas Hodge was last seen driving an older model white Chevy Malibu with dark tinted windows. He may be armed with a high-powered rifle and is considered dangerous.

Additional personnel from all divisions of the police department have been called in to investigate these shootings and attempt to locate the suspect.
