While Texarkana Arkansas Police Officers were arresting the two men at 4820 Old Blackman Ferry Road on Sunday they encountered another man that identified himself as Richard Fisher. Officers later learned through investigation that his name was James Joseph Fisher.
Texarkana Arkansas officers also learned that James J. Fisher had numerous warrants for his arrest. These include:
* Misdemeanor Battery 3rd, Harassment, and Obstructing Governmental Operations in Texarkana Arkansas
* Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief and Harassment in Miller Co.
* Felony Burglary, Forgery, and Theft warrants in Mena AR. /Polk County.
* Felony Theft warrants in Arkadelphia AR. /Clark Co.
* Felony Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and misdemeanor Deceptive Business Practices in Clarkesville TX. /Red River Co.
Texarkana Arkansas Patrolmen went to 4820 Old Blackman Ferry where they spoke with Fishers wife, 26 year-old Karyl Ann Fisher. She told them that James Fisher was not home and refused to allow them inside the home. Officers had already spoken to other witnesses that stated that Fisher was indeed in the home. Officers established a perimeter while detectives produced and delivered a search warrant. James Fisher surrendered to police upon learning about the search warrant.
Due to her involvement Karyl Ann Fisher was arrested and charged with one count of felony Hindering Apprehension.
