Texarkana Arkansas Detectives have arrested two men who had posed as utility workers in connection with a recent home invasion and aggravated assault.
20 year-old Mark Mathew Fisher and 19 year-old Paul Brooks Boswell of Miller Texarkana Arkansas have been arrested and charged with felony counts of Robbery and Burglary.
On Saturday the 15th of January an elderly female living in the 1800 block of Pearl Street reported that two men stating they were employees of the gas company burglarized her home. One of the men escorted the female to the back yard while the other entered her home. The men fled with the property stolen from her home. The elderly woman who was not harmed provided a general description and detectives went to work investigating the crime.
Texarkana Arkansas Police were aware of recent home invasion in Texarkana Texas and Bowie County where two men had posed as either gas company employees or surveyors to gain access to elderly individuals homes. In some of the cases the victims were held at gunpoint and beaten.
Following a non-stop investigation detectives were able to identify the two suspects and issue warrants for their arrests. Detectives and Patrolmen located the two men on Sunday the 17th at a house in the 4800 block of Old Blackman Ferry Road.
Detectives located a large number of stolen weapons in the home during the arrests that positively link them with at least two other home invasions and assaults in Texarkana Texas and Bowie County.
