Re: Indecent Exposure/ Public Alert

On Tuesday 11/23/04, Texarkana, Arkansas Police Officers responded to two separate calls concerning a white male exposing himself to women in the area of the newly constructed walking trail that runs south from Ed Worrell Park to E. 18th Street near Razorback Stadium. In both incidents the white male was described as being young, either in his late teens or early twenties, with a slender build, dark hair and a moustache or beard, and wearing baggy dark colored clothing. The suspect was riding a black or dark colored BMX style bicycle that one witness described as being “too small” for him.

In both instances the male exposed his genitals and made lewd comments to the women, who were walking alone, but did not attempt to touch them. The police department strongly encourages women who are walking for exercise in unfamiliar or secluded areas to walk in pairs or take the precaution of carrying a cell phone and/or mace, and be aware of their surroundings.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is asking for your help. If you or anyone you know has information about these crimes please call the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department at 903-798-3130 or Crime Stoppers at 903-793-7867 (STOP).
