Re: Narcotics Located at Greyhound Bus Station

At approximately 10:25am yesterday (11/04/04), a member of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department’s Special Operations Unit was working narcotics interdiction at the Greyhound Bus Station on E. 51st Street. Officer John Gibbert and his K-9 partner Oran located 6.4 pounds of Marijuana. The drugs were located in a ticketed travel bag in the lower compartment of a bus traveling from Phoenix, AZ to Georgia. The drugs have a street value of approximately $6000.00.

No arrests were made given that the bag could not be linked to any of the passengers riding the bus.
