The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has joined the Faith, Love and Hope Organization in efforts to invest in the children within our community. As part of these efforts we will be participating in the Octoberfest Community Carnival created by the Faith, Love and Hope Organization. Texarkana Arkansas Police Officers will be speaking on Good Character traits during Red Ribbon Week at the school, and we will end the week with a Hay Ride for the children on the 30th. The Hay Ride and will begin at 5:00pm at the Faith, Love and Hope School, 2300 Preston Texarkana Arkansas and end at nightfall.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has also contributed to the renovation of the Faith, Love and Hope School, formally known as Carver Kindergarten. A sponsored classroom is being painted and decorated in a Police theme. This theme and our participation is a continuing effort to promote positive open relations with children and strengthen the bond between the community and the police.
Every member of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department recognizes and appreciates the fact that we need our communities support to fight crime effectively and provide a safer environment for kids.
