Following an investigation into the strong-armed robbery at the Exxon, 2324 N. Stateline on 10/13/04 the Texarkana Arkansas Police issued felony warrants for Filing a False Police Report on the clerk, Bridget McDowell and her boyfriend James Fisher. Detective Les Moody uncovered the couple’s conspiracy to stage a robbery in order to obtain money from the business. McDowell and Fisher were arrested today and are being held in the Bi-State jail pending transfer and arraignment.
You might remember that McDowell told officers that a black male dressed in all black with a cap and hooded sweatshirt entered the store grabbed the female clerk and demanded money. The suspect gained cash, exited the store, and fled on foot into Texas.
