Re: Robber Suspect of Century Bank in Custody.

Today at 9:49am Texarkana Arkansas Officers answered a robbery call at the Century Bank branch at 3615 East 9th Street. According to reports a white male had entered the bank, robbed a clerk of an undetermined amount of money, and left. Shortly after the man left the bank a witness reportedly saw a white colored station wagon leaving the area at a high rate of speed east on highway 82. A Texarkana Arkansas special operation sergeant radioed Lafayette County Deputies about the incident. Shortly after receiving the information about the suspected vehicle Lafayette Deputies were in pursuit of a white colored station wagon as described by the sergeant. The pursuit ended with the arrest of the suspect in or near Stamps Arkansas.
