Re: Home Invasion Armed Robbery, A04-4684

Today at 2:13pm Officers responded to an armed robbery at 1719 Hilltop. A 62 year-old male reported that two masked gunmen had just robbed him in his home. One suspect was armed with a rifle and the other a handgun. The two entered the home through the back door and surprised the victim. They demand that the victim hand over his wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled the residence without harming him.

Directly after the robbery a Miller County Sheriffs Deputy spotted a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road in the 200 block of Miller Street. The deputy initiated a traffic stop to inquire about the reason the vehicle was setting in the middle of the road. A 14 year-old white female, 15 year-old black male and 18 year-old Brady McBride occupied the vehicle. While the deputy was questioning the driver a Texarkana Arkansas Officer notified them that the vehicle occupants might have just been involved in the robbery. Within minutes, Texarkana Arkansas Officers and Miller County Deputies located the items used in the robbery and the stolen money in the car.

Texarkana Arkansas Detectives discovered that the 14 year-old white female is the granddaughter of the victim, and had planned the robbery.

The 14 year-old female, 15 year-old male and Brady McBride all of Texarkana Arkansas were charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault.
