It is National Police Week and Saturday 05/15/04 is National Police Officer Memorial Day. This day commemorates the sacrifices of those law enforcement officers who have given their lives protecting others. We ask that the MEDIA and the public help us to pay homage to the brave men and women of law enforcement who have gone before us.

Please join us in commemorating the lives of the men and women who chose to give their life for their community. We remember and appreciate our fallen brothers and sisters.

We ask that all TV broadcast stations scroll the names of the local fallen at the bottom of the screen and other media outlets take a moment to recognize these hero’s.
