Re: Assault and Robbery of an 81 year-old women at her home. A04-03400

On Wednesday May 5th at 7:39pm Patrol Officers responded to a robbery call that occurred in the 2900 hundred block of South Stateline. An 81 year-old white female reported to officers that she had just been robbed in her home.

According to reports the 81 year-old-victim was in her home when a white male knocked on the door. The victim reported that the suspect had been to her home in the past offering to seal her driveway and she rejected his offers. He told the victim that he had a piece of paper he wanted her to read. She opened the door slightly to retrieve the paper when the suspect forced his way into her home. He assaulted the elderly women and produced a gun at which time he threatened to kill her while demanding money. The suspect held the victim at bay while he rifled through the home before leaving. The victim sustained minor injuries from the assault but did not request medical attention.

The suspect is described has a dark completed white male, 508 to 510 in height, medium build.

He was reportedly driving a black or dark blue older model full size truck.
