Re: Warrants Issued for Kidnapping and Sexual Assault of a 13 year-old girl.

Texarkana, Arkansas Police have been conducting an intensive investigation into the abduction of a 13 year-old Texarkana girl since the early morning hours of May 3rd. The investigation has led to the issuance of arrest warrants for Levester Gillard, B/M, 34 year-old of Nashville, Arkansas. Warrants for Kidnapping and Rape were issued this afternoon following the execution of a search warrant in Howard County.

Texarkana Arkansas Detectives have been working closely with members of the Howard County Arkansas Sheriff’s Department, Mineral Springs Police Department, and Sgt. Watson of the Arkansas State Police. Law Enforcement multi-jurisdictional cooperation has been essential since the victim was released in Mineral Springs a few hours after her abduction in Texarkana.

No details surrounding the execution of the search warrant are being released at this time. The investigation leads detectives to believe that Gillard may be armed with a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
