Re: Narcotics Located at Greyhound Bus Station, A04-02741

At approximately 8:50am yesterday, members of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department’s Special Operations Unit were working narcotics interdiction at the Greyhound Bus Station on E. 51st Street. Officer Lloyd Douglas and K-9 Bruno located 2.7 pounds of marijuana. The drugs were located in a travel bag in the overhead compartment of a bus traveling from Dallas to Cleveland. The drugs have a street value of approximately $5500.00.

31-year-old James D. Barnett of Hot Springs, Arkansas was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
