Re: Suspicious Persons Alert

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department would like to share recently learned information about specific crimes that occurred in Benton and Hot Springs.

A man knocked on the door of a home with a real estate sign in the yard and told the owner he had not been able to contact the agent and wanted to see the home.  The owner made the mistake of letting him in.  The man then asked to use the bathroom.  The owner became uneasy and asked the man to leave. The owner then found that the man had gone through his medicine cabinet (looking for drugs).

The man, who called himself Frank, was described has being 6'4" tall, gray hair, clean cut, and wearing a baseball cap.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department would like to caution the public. If you are selling your home, before you allow anyone into your home, request that an agent accompany the person or get their information and check them out.
