The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is currently investigating a seven-vehicle accident that occurred on Loop 245 at the Tennessee over-pass at 5:45am today. The accident as claimed the life of 22 year-old Rachel Sturvevant of Texarkana Arkansas. Two others have been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The accident occurred in the northbound lane of the over-pass where recent snow and ice created hazardous driving conditions. Accident reconstructionist have not been able to determine yet if the fatality injured women had exited her vehicle or if she had been ejected from her vehicle and been struck by another vehicle. The over-pass is currently closed to traffic but will reopen as soon as possible.
