Re: Armed Robbery

An armed robbery occurred today at the Bottle Shop, 1224 N. Stateline. The owner of the business told officers that a black male demanded money at gunpoint. The owner complied with the demand without disagreement and no one was harmed. A driver and getaway car were waiting near the location. A witness was able to obtain a license number and description of the getaway vehicle. This information was broadcasted and officers began looking for the car. Arkansas officers located the car in a housing area of Texarkana Texas. The Arkansas officers called for assistance and began questioning area residents. Officers were led to a local man who was arrested on charges of Accomplice to Robbery and transported to the city jail.
