The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department would like to present to our community the following new members. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming these officers to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.
Police officer, twenty-nine years old of Texarkana, Arkansas. Attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Basic Academy December 19, 2003. Officer Smith has been assigned to the Patrol Division and is currently in the department’s field training program.
Police Officer, twenty-nine years old from Nash, Texas. Officer Savage has attended Howard Payne University, Texas State Technical College, and Texarkana College. He is a former seven-year veteran with the Texarkana Texas Police Department. Officer Savage has been assigned to the Patrol Division and has entered the department’s field training program.
Police Officer, thirty-years old from Nash, Texas. Officer Kirkland has attended Texarkana College, Central Texas College, and Rio Salado Community College. He is a former member of the United States Army. Officer Kirkland is a Texas certified law enforcement officer and has served in several different positions with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department and the Nash Police Department. He is currently in this department’s field training program in the Patrol Division.
