The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is honored to announce the appointment of Police Chief Robert Harrison to the Federal Bureau of Investigationís (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) as an executive board member. Chief Harrisonís placement on this Task Force reinforces Arkansasí involvement in efforts that work to combat incidents of terrorism.
The JTTF is the Nationís front line of defense in the fight against terrisom, including domestic terrorism. The JTTF is a network comprised of highly trained, locally based investigators, analysts, linguists, SWAT experts, and other specialists from dozens of U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies who are passionately committed to defeating the threat of terrorism.
