On March 25, 2013, the Bi-State Narcotics Taskforce (BSNTF) arrested Abdel Salameh, 47 yoa, and Aiali Rehan, 42yoa, of Texarkana, Arkansas for felony possession of untaxed tobacco products and misdemeanor possession of K-2, synthetic marijuana.
The investigation began when Miller County Sherriff Ron Stovall received numerous complaints of K-2 synthetic marijuana being sold from Samís Food Mart, located at 5828 Dooley Ferry Road, in Texarkana, Arkansas. The investigation was turned over to the BSNTF, which subsequently gathered information and evidence resulting in both Salameh and Rehanís arrest. The BSNTF seized a small amount of K-2 synthetic marijuana and approximately 320 miscellaneous packages of tobacco products with a taxable amount of $600.00.
