On Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00am, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to the North Heights Pharmacy, located in the 1200 block of East 35th Street, in reference to a robbery call. During this incident an unknown white male entered the business, approached the counter, and presented a note that indicated he was armed and wanted prescription pain medication. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of medication and fled the business in and unknown direction. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 5’7 and 150 pounds. He was wearing brown gloves, a grey hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, sunglasses, and had facial hair.
Then on Thursday, April 12, 2012, TAPD officers responded to All Care Pharmacy, located in the 100 block of East Street, in reference to a robbery in progress. Upon investigation it was determined that an unknown white male entered the pharmacy, approached the counter, and presented a note indicating he was armed and wanted prescription pain medication. The unknown male suspect, wearing a grey hoody sweatshirt and sunglasses, fled the business in a Jeep Wrangler. Officers on scene sent out a detailed broadcast over the radio of the suspect and vehicle information.
A few minutes later, Officer Joe Rochelle observed a Jeep Wrangler, occupied by a white male driver, traveling eastbound in the 2800 block of Division Street. Officer Joe Rochelle conducted a traffic stop on the suspected vehicle which subsequently led to the arrest of Paul Brett Chandler, W/M 31 yoa, of Texarkana, Texas. Chandler was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
