The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department today announced that it ticketed 129 Motorists for not wearing seat belts during the May 23 through June 5, Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization. Law enforcement agencies throughout Arkansas participated in this nationwide annual effort to get more motorists to buckle up – and save more lives.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department joined forces with NHTSA and other state and local enforcement and highway safety partners in support of this year’s Click It or Ticket mobilization, which featured high-visibility enforcement and outreach activities including paid national advertising in support of the highway safety campaign.
