At 5:30pm on Thursday afternoon officers received information regarding the location of Justin McCrary. Justin McCrary had a confirmed felony rape warrant through Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. When one of the officers approached the residence in the 500 block of Artesian they located Mr. McCrary sitting in the driver seat of a vehicle. The officer attempted to make contact with Mr. McCrary but Mr. McCray sped away from the residence and the officer. The officer attempted to catch up with Mr. McCrary who at this time had began traveling east on Division. The officer observed Mr. McCrary attempt to turn south onto the entrance ramp to south bound Loop 245. Mr. McCrary was unable to negotiate the turn which resulted in Mr. McCrary’s vehicle to flip over the concrete partition wall. The vehicle landed in the grassy area off of Division Street. Mr. McCrary who was not wearing his seat belt was ejected from the vehicle. Life net was called to the scene and transported Mr. McCrary to Wadley Hospital. Mr. McCrary later dies due to injuries received from the car crash.
