9-1-1 IS A PHONE NUMBER YOU
SHOULD ALWAYS KNOW!


Use 9-1-1 to call a police officer if:

- You or someone else is hurt badly
- You are lost
- A strange person tries to offer you gifts or a ride
- You think someone may be trying to hurt you

How to dial 9-1-1:


1. Pick up the phone
2. Dial 9, then 1, then 1 again. An adult will answer. This is the 9-1-1 operator.
3. Listen to the operator's questions
4. Speak loudly and clearly
5. Answer all the questions they ask you
6. Don't hang up until the operator tells you to

Remember!! 9-1-1 Is not a game. Use it only when you need help.
