Use 9-1-1 to call a police officer if: |

| - You or someone else is hurt badly - You are lost - A strange person tries to offer you gifts or a ride - You think someone may be trying to hurt you |

How to Dial 9-1-1 |

| 1. Pick up the phone 2. Dial 9, then 1, then 1 again. An adult will answer. This is the 9-1-1 operator. 3. Listen to the operator's questions 4. Speak loudly and clearly 5. Answer all the questions they ask you 6. Don't hang up until the operator tells you to |
