Officer Mitchell was hired with the Texarkana Police Department January 2005. She earned her Arkansas Law Enforcement certification from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Officer Mitchell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Henderson State University. She is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
